Aurora AFX AMC Javelin stocker #5 Silver, Blue, Red.
This was a particularly difficult car to photograph and I needed to really think about the bounce flash and camera settings before settling on this result. Not too bad considering most of the other shots had massive amounts of flash reflection. It isn't obvious but out of camera shot there are two black cards to the left and right of the car pretty much absorbing much of the flash and not allowing too much reflected flash back onto the car.
However, the mirror finish sets this car off with a difference and it is a rather unique finish for a slot car. I've seen some abused versions along the way with chrome wear and such. Perhaps not the greatest choice of paint work for a highly handled slot car but it does look very good.
Stands to reason why it isn't raced much.
