Different pickup shoes for Aurora AFX cars.

These 3 examples were taken off some of my cars and at one stage were obviously tinned to minimize corrosion to the copper surfaces.
I suspect product improvements over the years probably account for the different shoes appearing on various models.
All 3 types of shoes are common on the Aurora AFX non M/T, M/T, 4 gear specialty and a few other chassis' based on the M/T design. The pickups on the fabulous G+ chassis' were very different again to these.

even tho all these shoes will interchange, the ones closest in the photo were found on the 3 and 4 gear non magna traction chassis. the ones in the back of the photo were found on the 3 and 4 gear magna traction chassis, the ones in the middle that are shiny silver with a small bump at the front end were found on later made late 70s early 80s silver plated magna traction chassis.
