Well, I finished the project, I was able to repair the circuit board thanks to a friends knowledgeable skills and I can't wait to see what he thinks Christmas day. So here is a short video, Sorry for the poor quality, lighting was low and my better half had the tv on... Perhaps another day will yield time for a better take.

Thanks for the video too-I have never seen the lights go off on this car! Several Christmas' back I restored all of my brother's childhood cars and built up a Road Race Replicas AC Cobra and a Hot Rod Coupe for his son Ethan.
